What is smyth sewing?
Smyth sewing is a mechanical process whereby thread is sewn thru
the spine fold of one signature, connecting one signature to another.
What are the advantages of smyth sewing?
a. Smyth sewing allows the book to open and lay flat for greater
viewing and readability.
b. A smyth sewn book is more durable than other methods. You can
have confidence that your book will hold together whether your
paper is 20# bible weight or 100# coated text. Pages will not
“fall out” of books.
Can digitally printed pages be smyth sewn?

with a layout.
What dimensions do we need for a “printed cover”
wrap or dust jacket?
